And what has the Democratic party done to resolve these things? Nothing. They have doubled down on the same failed policies that created the mess in the first place.Every single policy pushed by the Democratic Party leads to victimization or oppression. The culture that has been set up by liberals, progressives and marxists groom men to become victims.Black men are entrepreneurial by nature. Black men are creative by nature. Black men are leaders by nature. Most black men buck against that culture because deep down inside, they want to tap into that God given position of leadership that is innate in all men.So, the black man looks at the Democratic Party and sees no hope. Yet, when he looks to the Republican Party, he sees a no vacancy sign even though the rooms are empty. In other words, he is not welcome. And if they do allow him to come in, he must strip off anything that makes him look black and put on the persona of a eunuch. The Republican Party wants black men to conform and be safe. One cannot have an opinion that goes against the orthodoxy or you will be silenced.
The Republican Party can take the time to go into the communities to first listen and then explain how conservative principles are in alignment with the principles of the community. Things such as reliance on one's ability given to them by God and not on government. Empowering Fathers through non-profits in the communities and not government entities. Similar to what Ron Desantis has done Florida with his act that focused on fathers. Those are the type of things that can win them over.
They do not feel welcome because the party does not know how to receive them as people. Trump was the only one that could reach them because he was not a typical Republican. Trump appealed to their desire to own their own destiny. Too many Republicans are either scared or disinterested.
Thanks for the feedback. I'll pray that our Republican leaders will have the courage to step it up. Thank God for Pres. Trump!
I will do the same because right now, that's the only affiliation that is even willing to consider biblical values.
Shawn, what can the Republican party do to include black men? Can you expound on what you see is driving them away?
