In the past few weeks we have seen the Uni-party at its finest.
A bipartisan group of Senators, including the two from the great state of North Carolina, voted to essentially reaffirm the redefinition of marriage.
The so called Respect for Marriage Act does nothing to truly respect the God created and God defined institution of marriage.
What it actually does is continue the attack on marriage that has been ongoing since the garden.
The enemy knows that in order to destroy communities and society, the family must be disrupted and destroyed.
And in America marriage has been under assault. The Obergefell decision was the crack used by the LGBT to impose same-sex marriage as normative.
Ultimately, this has diluted the sanctity and value of marriage.
This is seen by the reduction of the marriage rate. As scripture says, in the last days people will be forbidding to marry. Which is what we are seeing today.
The attack is subtle and shrewd. However, for those with eyes to see, it is very apparent.
The ideology of Marxism drives the current political left. Marx knew that in order to create a revolution, the biblical family unit must be subverted.
How do you subvert marriage?
Give it to a government that is full of Marxists and useful idiots.
As believers, we must reassert ownership of marriage. Marriage is an institution that belongs to the church not the government.
The problem is that we have ceded too much responsibility to the government.
When we do that, we open the door for government to modify an institution that it has no right to modify.
We have an imperative to protect marriage from all enemies, both Republican and Democratic.
The future of our nation depends on it.
