“We are not victims, we are empowered for greatness!”
That is what I usually say during an episode on my YouTube channel.
I believe God gave me that as a rebuttal to the culture of victimization that is prevalent throughout American society by and large.
This culture is most acute in the Black Community. I believe that there has been a systematic effort to divorce agency from black people and to incentivize victimization.
I believe that there has been a systematic effort to divorce agency from black people and to incentivize victimization.
The primarily mechanism used to perpetuate the culture of victimization is race.
Race has been used to justify laziness and entitlement.
Race has been used to divide Americans into separate affinity groups in order to accentuate our differences and minimize our commonality.
Recently, I came across a video on Patrick Bet David’s Valuetainment podcast with Bob Woodson.
If you don’t know who Bob Woodson is, he was active during the Civil Rights Movement. He runs the Woodson Center, which seeks to empower communities and uses a values based approach to solving problems.
In the interview, Mr. Woodson talks in great detail as to what is harming the black community.
And…it is not RACE!!
