The LGBTQ+ Movement is not the equivalent of the Civil Rights Movement
How the establishment uses the FBI to target dissidents
Over the weekend, I had the opportunity to watch a fascinating documentary centering on the FBI and Dr. Martin Luther King. The documentary mentions how the FBI wanted to discredit Dr. King in order to stop the Civil Rights Movement. J. Edgar Hoover saw Dr. King as a threat to America because he was disrupting the status quo.
By using taped recordings acquired through the use of listening devices and other means, the FBI thought they could put a halt to the movement.
However, despite the personal flaws of Dr. King, what Hoover didn’t realize is that the Civil Rights Movement at its core was a righteous movement. The aim of the movement was to force America to look in the mirror and reckon with the sins of the nation.
Not in a way to punish America, but in order to redeem America. To force America to own up to the disenfranchisement of a group of citizens. To not only restore but protect their civil and political rights.
The Civil Rights Movement was a spiritual movement anchored on the truth that all men are created equal in the eyes of God.
Fast forward two generations and there is now a new movement afoot. This movement claims to be a descendent of the Civil Rights movement. Yet, if it has descended from the Civil Rights movement, it is illegitimate.
The LGBTQ+ Movement is not the equivalent of the Civil Rights Movement. It is not even in the same realm.
One may say, how can you say that? Hasn’t the gay and lesbian community been subjected to hostility, ridicule, and forced subjugation?
While it is true that the gay and lesbian community has been mistreated in the past, we can’t create a false equivalency. Just because someone has been treated in an improper way doesn’t mean their rights were infringed upon.
Have you ever seen a restaurant overtly not serve a person because they are gay?
Are there “gay codes” created to limit the advancement of the LGBTQ+ community.
Do children who identify as gay or lesbian have to attend second-rate schools? Are gay and lesbian activists shouted down with epithets and have fire hoses used on them? I don’t see any police dogs seeking to attack them.
The stealthy nature of the LGBTQ+ movement is this. It is using the advancements made by the Civil Rights movement to further their agenda. Their agenda is to force Americans to abandon their Biblical worldview in order to accommodate their secular religion. Yes, it is a secular religion.
That may be an oxymoron, but nevertheless it is a religion.
People are being forced to worship at the alter of the LGBTQ+ through their place of employment or at their school. Proselytizers are dispatched every school year to evangelize new converts.
And where is the pushback? Until recently, it was fairly negligent.
That was not the case with the Civil Rights Movement. At one point, only 15 to 20% of Americans saw Dr. King favorably. They saw him as an agitator that had Communist ties. They saw J. Edgar Hoover more favorably.
A movement that faces little hostility cannot be compared to the Civil Rights Movement. As a believer who has black skin, it is offensive. I’m offended because people of all ethnicities and races marched together to bring harmony to a land that was in disharmony. They marched to rid the land of hatred solely based on the color of one’s skin.
To think that this is being utilized to justify behavior that leads to death is appalling. On the contrary, the marchers in this movement parade down the streets of America and can’t answer the simple question of what is a woman.
