The Difference Between progressives and Biblical Conservatives
We understand WHO the true VINE is
Jesus is the true vine. God is the husbandman or vine dresser.
Apart from him we atrophy and die. That is why a branch disconnected from the vine does not bear fruit.
Its life supply has been interrupted or cut off.
As a result, God has to cut it off. It’s a dead branch that could potentially suck the life out of other branches.
Disturbingly, a number of confessing Christians are thinking that they are the vine and that Christ is the branch.
That they can simply manifest things into being.
They believe that they are the source of life. That the Zoe life emanates from them.
Because of this, many Christians do not recognize the god-complex that comes from believing one is the source.
They are sadly mistaken.
This is what progressives believe.
Progressives operate from secular wisdom that sees themselves as god and that they alone have the source of life.
Not knowing that God is the source of all true wisdom.
They exchanged the truth for a lie.
This is the primary difference:
Progressives see themselves as god and make policy decisions from that position.
Biblical Conservatives, understand that our rights derive from God and each individual has agency.
Progressives believe they are the vine and will supply through government the necessary nutrients for citizens to survive.
Biblical Conservatives believe that they are the branch and that Christ is the true vine.
Instead of government being the vehicle used to supply nutrients to the branch, it’s individual free will and natural rights that nourish the branch to produce fruit.
The fruit that each produces is evident of the success of the different approaches.
Progressive policies produce homelessness, decay, urban blight, dysfunction and death.
Biblical Conservative policies lead to individual liberty, self-governance, prosperity, and life.
That’s the difference.
