Trucker Boycott of NYC fizzles out as trucker backs down!

Recently, a trucker by the name of Chicago Ray mentioned that truckers were planning to refuse the delivery of loads to NYC because of the recent court decision in the Trump fraud case.

When the video posted by Chicago Ray started to go viral, the reality of what he mentioned began to sink in and he subsequently pulled the video off of X.

Now, he is not outright calling for a boycott of NYC, but that NYC should ‘leave Trump alone’.

The way Chicago Ray backed up like the huge 18-wheelers he drives reinforced a notion that I have been reflecting on for a while.

In the Summer of 2020, after the untimely death of George Floyd, you couldn’t drive down an urban center and not see Antifa, BLM, and others protesting.

They burned down police precincts, looted convenience stores, and terrorized the very communities that they claim to represent.

Yet, in a matter of a few days, a trucker backed down from the threat of a boycott.  Why is that?

I believe the reason is that conservatives by and large are not truly committed to seeing a boycott to the end.

Conservatives usually want to conserve, they are not interested in destruction or disrupting current ways of living.

Most of them would rather voice their opinion and then continue on with living their daily lives.

They place higher values on their faith and family.  They love their country and want what is best for the country.

Yet, they ultimately would rather leave it to someone else to actually do the hard work of effecting change.

Whereas, activists on the left see what they are doing as true religious expression.

They, by and large, do not have faith in God.  So, in order to fulfill the need to worship, they use protest as their song of praise and the street as their sanctuary.

Galvanized by the misguided notion of saving democracy, they will employ fascist and authoritarian tactics in order to ensure opposition is silenced.

In this case, if the roles were reversed, there would have been a swarm of activists parked near the courthouse to make their voices known.

They would have disrupted all of the services in NYC just to make sure people knew they were not leaving until something was done.

Just look at all of the incidents of climate activists blocking traffic recently.

And that is why America has taken such a drastic turn towards degeneracy and insanity.

The activists in the Deep State do not see what they are doing as mere policy, they see it as proselytizing.

They are preaching the message of tolerance while practicing intolerance.

The traditional media are their modern day disciples.

According to them, this message must be preached to every inch of America, and then the true transformation of America will be complete.

All the while, most Christians are concerned with whether they are being offensive by even expressing a belief in Jesus.

Well, I hate to break it to you, the Gospel of Christ is offensive.

Jesus said that he came to bring a sword, to divide those who will stand for Him versus those who will cower when it gets too hot.

We have seen what happens when the cowards retreat, now it’s time for true warriors to rise up and stand for righteousness.
